Our Action Shooting Program is based
on the I.P.S.C. style of shooting. We draw our weapons from a
holster and shoot at a variety of paper, cardboard and steel targets. We
must negotiate barriers and obstacles while shooting. We employ the use
of handguns, pistol caliber carbines and shotguns to engage the targets;
Sometimes all in one stage. This is a timed event with misses penalizing
your time score.
Action Shooting is the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of each month (except July and August) and set-up begins at 8:30 AM. Shooters must be ready to shoot at 9:30 AM. There is a $10 fee for shooting, but non-shooters are welcome to observe the fun.
Don't worry about the cold, the Action Shooting Range has a nice warm fire pit for your comfort.
