Action Shooting

Our Action Shooting Program is based on the IDPA scoring and shooting rules. New shooters are encouraged to shoot .The “must haves” are a holster and two mag holders eye and ear protection. We must negotiate barriers and obstacles while shooting at scored cardboard silhouettes and often times a variety of steel targets .We usually set up on the 4th Saturday before at 2:30 and the match is the 4th Sunday with start time at 9:00am. Arrive at 8:30 to sign up. The cost is $20.00 with 5 stages open to non club members as well, round count is approximately 100. Rimfire, centerfire pistols and revolvers and pistol caliber carbines may be used. We intend to hold matches year round with weather permitting. Below are a couple informational links for shooting IDPA matches , equipment needed and scoring info.
