On Friday, November 22, the Nauset Rod and Gun Club will host a Women on Target event from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The day will begin with a morning classroom session where participants will learn the fundamentals of firearm identification, safe handling, operation, and the responsibilities of firearm ownership.
A complimentary lunch will be provided at midday, followed by three hours of live-fire instruction covering the three primary shooting disciplines: rifle, shotgun, and handgun.
At the conclusion of the course, participants who qualify will receive a Massachusetts State Police certificate, allowing them to apply for a state-issued firearms permit.
Cost: $100 per student
Class size: Limited to the first 10 applicants (first come, first served)
